**This position will be physically located in Iraq in support of LOGCAP**
Under the supervision of the Food Service Worker Lead, will perform various tasks related to kitchen and dining area operations. The primary responsibilities will include prepare dining and serving areas by arranging counters, stands, and tables. Set up food containers, clean and fill table condiments, responsible for general cleaning, including floors, equipment, walls, and light fixtures, ensuring a high standard of sanitation and cleanliness. Store cleaned items and cleaning materials in an organized manner. Pick up and store non-food items, cleaning solutions, and paper products. Collect, scrape, soak, wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. Dispose of food waste in garbage disposal or trash receptacles. Perform manual washing of kitchen items. Set up, serve, break down, and replenish serving lines, beverage refrigerators, and juice dispensers. Sweep, mop, and clean serving lines, warmers, refrigerators, beverage dispensers, and coffee machines after each meal. Serve main course, speed line items, meats, vegetables, starches, and short-order items during daily serving hours. Assist with salad and sandwich bar preparation. Perform any other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Must provide a copy of the diploma
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Host Country Passenger Vehicle
- ServSafe Certification or Food Service Certification approved under ANSI-CFP accredited programs and/or approved under the Tri Service Food Code guidelines.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Must successfully undergo Medical Health Screening: Tuberculosis (TB), full series Hepatitis A vaccine, Typhoid, and safe food-handling training.

- Skills:
- Must read, write, and speak the English language fluently.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks at any given time.
- Working Conditions:
- Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, duty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months).
- Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.
- Physical Requirements:
- Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
