Under the United States (U.S.) Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) Global Intelligence Logistics and Engineering (GILE) program, Team V2X will provide: global multi-disciplined engineering; facilities; sustainment and maintenance of non-standard (non-Program of Record) and Program of Record intelligence systems to include the integration of new intelligence technologies and capabilities; Portal management; hardware design and integration; network management; technology development and application; and supply chain/logistics support to INSCOM, U.S. Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER), Army Intelligence, Joint Forces, Combatant Commands, and the Intelligence Community (IC). Team V2X will enable INSCOM’s mission of anticipating requirements and employing innovative techniques to equip and sustain Soldiers, Civilians, systems, and facilities. As a dedicated partner to INSCOM G4, Team V2X is committed to enhancing readiness as part of Combined, Joint, and IC interdependent teams supporting tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence units, personnel, ground and aerial intelligence equipment, operation facilities, and infrastructure from multiple CONUS and OCONUS locations.
This position is contingent upon successful contract award to V2X.

Responsibilities
- Prepare Architectural and Engineering drawings of facilities, facility systems, and infrastructure in support of facility operations, maintenance, repair, and construction.
- Perform design and drafting assignments requiring advanced working knowledge of design / drafting standards, practices, and techniques.
- Perform fieldwork, site surveys and facility investigations to collect architectural, engineering, and infrastructure data needed for the completion of drawings and details.
- Develop and maintain a drawing database of supported facilities worldwide.
- Maintain all supported worldwide facility and utility drawings and service to a variety of engineers and architects.
- Execute daily functions required for efficient operation of multiple hardware, software, and databases.
- Conduct a variety of tasks to analyze and improve the operation efficiency.
- Prepare, revise and change engineering drawings on CADD System.
- Gather supporting data and prepare detailed drawings, which show dimensions and specifications of facility, utility, and related information.
- Meet designated schedule deadlines for delivering drawings.
- Prepare detailed layout, assembly, and working drawings, files and index drawings.
- Ensure plans are in accordance with project scope, client specifications, and standards.
- Works from sketches, notes, and other input material to produce computer generated drawings, overlays, graphs, and charts.
- Use technical data from specifications and site surveys, prepare drawing documentation for engineering change proposals and engineering installation plans for installation / upgrade of complex electronic communications equipment.
- Define and prepare illustrations for technical publications including INSCOM / IC regulations and pamphlets.
- Prepare documentation for briefings and technical reports.
- Ensures configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness, proper authorization, and system updates. Authorizes the release of drawings and software configuration changes specified by management and other functional groups.
- Responsible for configuration status accounting. Tracks all problems and changes in product documents and reports changes and current configuration.
- Responsible for configuration audits.
- Supports audits to verify that requirements of all baselines have been met. Supports quality assurance process audits and manage staff of configuration specialists for a new software development application.
- As required assist in oversight or escort for contractors on repair / renovation projects.
Qualifications
Education / Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Design Engineering or Engineering Technology with seven (7) years of experience in Engineering Drafting using AutoCADD and 3D drafting using Revit, OR
- Twelve (12) years of Military equivalent experience in engineering drafting using AutoCADD and 3D drafting using Revit.
Security Clearance Requirement:
- Must be a US Citizen with Final Top-Secret Clearance based upon a TIER 5 Background Investigation, and favorable eligibility determination for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) IAW ICD 704.
- Some positions or assignments may require a Counterintelligence (CI) Scope Polygraph, especially those requiring access to TDN2.
Experience / Skills:
- Able to maneuver in small spaces and lift 50lbs.
- Perform design studies to ensure design objectives are defined by a detailed physical specification.
- Ability to develop and collect raw data measurements from physical inspections of electronic equipment and facilities; transform the data into design layouts.
- Produce to CADD system, including I/O devices, detailed electrical and electronic schematics.
- Create mechanical drawings from layouts IAW the most current versions of MIL-T-31000; MIL-STD-100; develop working drawings and schematics of parts and assemblies from sketches, layouts and design plans.
